Imperial Crystalline Entombment - " A taunting spit in the eye of humanity"
‘’The unity of our mortal summoning cannot be specifically determined. We know that before the transformation during that great blizzard of Råvaskieth's then unknown seventh eclipse, we were mortal souls, musicians, outcasts and astral spacetime thinkers. Those general genetics are still engraved in our mortal shells, and corporeal field, but each of us, retain nothing of who or what each of us where or from whence we came. The only thing each of us remembers from our pathetic mammalian lives is the extreme pain of the CALLING. Everything meant nothing, but to crawl bare fleshed into the vast frozen blizzard of the north, for weeks, wondering with no nourishment or clothing, until each of us individually became engulfed with the channelled spirits of to whom we were each called. Our history means nothing, as such is true with human existence and that of every lifeform on this planet. This life evolution was an accident, a mistake. We are here to correct that mistake. In the eyes of each blackhole and each dying sun, history is future and future is history. The icy bleak kingdom of the blinding, frozen Råvaskeith came before all and shall return to all, from history to present, and back to history again, as an ever-moving force, yet always cold and always present. The fleeting sparks of warmth that created your existence and your sun are only dumfounded ants, misguided blindly within an army of a million uniform brethren. It's soon time for them to die....and your world will go with them.
Imperial Crystalline Entombment are a true enigma. Steeped in Anonymity and the ferocious bleak nature that is extreme black metal their music is an unrelenting unrepentant representation of their cold and bleak ethos. It is a storm in its many states whether it be a tempest of fury or a calmness that is no less bleak. Driven with a purpose that is represented on the aptly titled ‘’Abominable Astral Summoning’’ released in 2025, their complete immersion for such a cold themed project is total and a complete experience for those experiencing them for the first time.
‘’Our created sonic vibrations are very much tied together, as we are tied in unity with the ancients of old, and the cold white emptiness of the blackhole guidance fields. We felt compelled to gather together using our human talents of the past to create this album for the masses, as a taunting spit in the eye of humanity. You have no idea what is in store for you.... all in due time. I know there are some out there who also eagerly await the coming of the END and are subconsciously in tune with the pull of the orbital Råvaskeith. This music is for them. It is fitting that these humans upon hearing ICE immediately embrace it, in wonder and amazement - because of their primordial astral fluid subconsciously screaming at them: YOU SHOULD NOT BE HERE....THE END IS NEAR... Cosmic, cold and ancient, the chaos gods of ICE shall return to rule once more.
What draws your band to be possibly the coldest compared to all the others that also write and sing about Winter and frozen wastelands in their lyrics?
‘’Band? We do not know of your human comparisons. This is not an invention. This is reality, before reality. Before the creation of your weak planet and your rebellious star clustered solar system, and far before you mammals could comprehend thought, there was pure white. Far before the black vastness of space, there was the vast bleak white abyss of frozen time. Råvaskeith and the regime of frozen hate shall return once more to thwart the rebellious nebulae and its bastard creations, such as planetary warmth and live itself.
Looking at the discography, what was the reason for such a large break between your first and sophomore album, with then releasing your third album just two years after?
‘’After years of spreading the message of hopeless frozen extinction upon the earth, we felt the instinctual call of Råvaskeith to return our bodies to a hibernative state, while our astral energies were displaced onto other distant planets and within four alternate entities, spreading the cold white death further amongst the stars in our alternate forms. The repetitive howling shrieks of the loyal mortal servants below, have opened the archaic portal and reanimated I.C.E once more to reign again over Earth. We were revived and have arisen from our tomb on command to destroy all life as you know it under an endless blanket of ice and snow. We come and go only by the will of the great and ancient Råvaskeith.
How do you think your music has evolved from the inception of Apocalyptic End in White to your latest album from 2025 being Abominable Astral Summoning?
‘’There is no evolution, only death. The message of ICE has been brewing and bubbling and infecting its way across the lands of this dying planet for decades now. Increasing our strength and power and will continue to do so until our objective is complete.
Since 2024, there have been more live appearances than before, from performing at Maryland Deathfest last year to now Steelfest this year. What was the decision behind performing more live and at such great festivals?
We do not play or perform; we open our chests and allow the possession to upheave and escape us. Like a concaving vexating pain within your brain and soul, the voice and sonic hatred of the almighty Råvaskeith will spill forth and enter your solar plexus with a convulsing violent thrust, taking control of all your corporeal limbs and motions. The whirlwind blizzard of screaming and violent thrashing will encase your thoughts with the imagery of what will come of your pathetic human frail existence. The End will come in blinding white and snow…. such glimpses of the frozen apocalypse will leave you subconsciously begging for more, knowing. YOU SHOULD NOT BE HERE…. THE END IS NEAR… Cosmic, cold, and ancient, the chaos gods of ICE shall return to rule once more!!!
What can fans and mortals alike expect next from Imperial Crystalline Entombment? Will there be more live performances, a new album in the works, or even conjurations to have humanity face their final Winter?
‘’Yes, most definitely more conjurations. We were called for a reason, and that goal must be achieved. The complete annihilation of all life under the will of freezing death. We make no plans and are merely mediators between the ancient and this corporeal universe. All your human scientists have comprehended that the concept of time is non-existent, and "just is" and has been, far before humans designated "time" to it. They also have stumbled upon the hundreds of traveling black holes that sift through this sun's star cluster alone, and yet they are still far from realizing the origin of these shifting masses and their power as well as the empty white mass that fills the interior of the black matter in the vast, cold abyss of space. We were chosen, conjured, and brought to the north to be the first creatures of this universe to conjure and summon the waves of ice through the ever-expanding universe. We have no control nor invention nor plans over this power. Råvaskeith will make the future known soon enough, then all will know of its existence and abysmal cryptic plans without explanation.
